trust me on this...ive been following this movie for months now...ive read more on this movie than humanly possible...the smart was laid when the books were sleeping behind the wheel and the OW was 85 and 90million...ive got it at those #'s and 105.5 and 106 and 110 and i just bet it over at 112...i believe a 105 weekend i formality at this point, what remains is where the line goes the rest of the night, what wsex opens it at...if it breaks Spidey and by how much...i believe spider is toast i think this one "can" hit 120million
i think its reasonable to expect a 40million tally for fri (thats what X3 did)...take a 2.8multiplier and lands right on your 112million...i think 40million would be low for friday...i think it can hit 45million for friday a 45 for friday at 2.6 would land it at 117million and a 2.6 multiplier would be LOW...
this movie is gonna be a monster....you may win your bet at 112 b/c the cats out of the bag now...but for the casual "im just gonna bet it tonight for shits n giggles" i still recommend a play on the over...its opening in 4133 theatres the 3rd highest count ever....the midnights showings are looking great....more and more sellouts reporting and more theatres adding my screenings at midnight...the spiderman record is misleading, it shoulda been blown away by several movies but wasnt because they opened early...this movie is taking dead aim at the 3day record...here's some stuff ive pulled off other boards from other people....

pinny line swinging back in the right direction IMO...todays line of YES +150 was a joke...i think yes is minus money tonight/tomorrow...
another note these are good early indicators but its by no means a lock to break SM...dont read this and think this is a LOCK...this is the OPENING showing a lot of diehards must see it...and its ONLY 1 showtime...AND 112million is a HUGE nut to crack...its just a prelude of what might "come" the rest of the weekend....and its a great jumpstart on total gross...a 10million midnight gross would be GREAT....and could easily land fridays total in the 45million range...

x3 had an average weekend psa of 9.282. if potc can achieve that in 4100 theaters it would gross 113.1 o/w. all indications are that it is infact exceeding x3 presale numbers early on, and quite possibly for the weekend. pinny gives you +110 for beating spidy whose number was 114.8. waiting patiently for wsex. anything 110 and under, i would reccomend killing the over.
wsex has the movie posted up...no total yet should be any minute hopefully i want to go get some beers but i cant leave the computer

well men i have some good news...mind you its still very early on in the weekend for a movie with his high a total BUT.... this guy runs or has access to a top5 biggest movie theatre in the country....ive had 1 loser in the last 3 months (i can prove it) and that was b/c i discounted his info on click (the print #) and it lost by 2million....he was right too, said 3prints highest movie to date was Breakup and it did 40million and click only had 3 b/c Superman was coming out the next week and they could only afford to give it 3prints and it only did 40million....he usually posts his theatres fridays takes late fri night and can compare them to any other previous movie and tell you where its gonna land for the weekend....ive been posting his stuff mixed in up above here is his latest post...this guys word is gold...

South Orange County (CA) midnight sellout watch
This is a 4 hour update of 3 large theaters here. Last time we had 16 out of 19 sold out.
7 screens have been added in those 4 hours, and we now have 22 sell outs out of 26. The remainder of those 26 will be sold out probably within the next 90 minutes.
This is ahead of STAR3 (16.5 midnight nationwide) where I am...
